Elegant handmade coaster  with a hare (rabbit) imprinted into the ceramic, the perfect size for a mug of tea or coffee or even a bottle of vino!

The pattern on each coaster is made by the use of a wooden stamp which is impressed into the clay. The design of the coasters has a lip to catch any spills or condensation.

Each coaster has been glazed in a popular jade green, where true alchemy occurs around the rim, a beautiful sandy colour 'breaks' giving a natural warmth that only occurs in handmade pottery. Silicone dots have been placed on the base of the coaster to protect the surface it is placed.

Made in my pottery studio in Wiltshire, wheel-thrown from stoneware clay. Food safe glazes are always used. Twice fired by oxidation upto 1200 C to reach vitrification.
